Came across this picture in another reef forum.. very nice SPS tank.. salute to the owner..

I would like to ask if there's any reefer here do their tank base like this instead of sand.. understand that the base is a piece of white acrylic.. It look so clean and nice and most importantly no more sandstorm.. cant keep wrasse oso..

Any pros & cons?

Thanks a lot..

The owner of the above picture is very hardworking..he wrote he clean almost everyday..

For FOWLR setup, I believe with strong current will keep it clean..but I can't try it on my next setup as tank too big..maybe if next time my CO allow, I will keep a nano cube coral tank then can try..I love that white clean look..

Lol... Clean everyday? More burden than enjoyment. He must be either very free or really enjoy cleaning the tank...
