Why everytime my turbo snail die ???

Hmmm everytime i buy turbo snail, they will be quite lively in the bag

but when i put them in my tank they will just die..... refuse to come out at all and die off.

currently every other livestock is ok only turbo snail cant survive

i put them in the tank for about 15 mins then add in the same amount of portion of my tank water into the bag then after 15 mins later then introduce them into the tank

but straight after that it just curl up.........

Did u noticed how they died? Any hermit crabs inside yr tank?

you got algae in your tank or not.. BTW they do not eat coralline algae..

just introduce

then they start to strink into their shell

no hermit

where to buy cleaner shrimp ah now very hard to find leh

know what. I dun even acclimatize 2 of my snails. Just dump them in my tank. Both doing very well till now.

The snails too TURBO liao plus you ZERO OXYGEN, sure die lah, how to survive......hehehe

Snails. They are bought seperately different times different stores.

One was bought long time ago from Outram and the other from PR few weeks ago.

Not to mention that during this long period, the no. of additives I added so therefore different water conditions.

i know most LFS have their salt level at 1.022 to 1.023

for me i brought about 5 of them last time..

now have quite a num of them.. they just grow new baby for me...

BTW next time try intro the snails at a higher temp. Maybe 27 - 28degrees.

My tank's temp is usually at 28 degrees.

err how they breed.. i dont know.. maybe u can come over my house to give my snail and interview...

they just increase lor.. sometime me also forget about adding water then see water level so low pour too much water at one go.. stress them and some die off...

so now left 3-4 big one and a few small one which i on and off will see then there and there

hmmm i always put them at the edge of the tank where their soft bodt touches the wall of the tank

the one i bought yesterday stick abit for a while then strink up sian sian

heh i am not using any sump as my is only a 2ft tank with no over flowing and no holes drilled at the side or bottom

is it still possible to make a sump this way ah???
