how to train yellow tang to eat lettuece

as above?? how to train yellow tang to eat letueece (bought from market) ..I soaked it in warm water and clip it on my clip and sink it but my yellow tang dosent eat leh..pls help..thNAKs

Try soaking in garlic guard.

Switch to dry seaweed(Nori) the brown/purple type.

Carry on like you are and it should get used to it and start to feed

You have to blanch terrestrial greens in hot water to break down the tough cellulose content before feeding your tangs or they won't be able to digest it fully.

IMO, it is better to feed them seeweed or nori which is much cheaper and more nutritious.

me feed my blue tang with seaweed but it dont seem interested in veg stuff.. only going after pellet and shrimp that feed it with...

most importantly,are there any other species of tangs in tank?same species type...zebrasoma..?inferiority to other species may also result it to not eating.

o for me i only got 1 tang in my tank only..

only my snail interested in the seaweed only..

But i read from the net that if my yellow tang.. dosent eat any vegetable diet their bright yellow might fade off ....is this true? and why my yellow tang keep peaking on my rocks...
