SRC Member domvonn Posted November 16, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted November 16, 2013 How abt trying live brine shrimp to entice it to feed first ? More than 5 days no eat , the stomach will shrink and it will grow weaker and weaker . Was it feeding before you purchase it ?
SRC Member Bulldozer Posted November 16, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted November 16, 2013 Where did you buy it from ? Was it feeding on pellet like what previous member ask? Were there other fellows whochased and bully him in tank ??

SRC Member Bulldozer Posted December 5, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted December 5, 2013 Since this is about Flame Angels, I will do my part to share. I bought 3 Pieces of Flame about 1 month back. I bought them because they are pellet feeding and they have been stable in the LFS for a while. Took them home and placed them in individual Betta Boxes in my Display Tank. I placed black plastic board (you can buy in popular bookstore) on top of the portion where the Betta Boxes are. This is to prevent direct lights to be shine on them when my auto lights kick in during evening. They started feeding on pellets shortly in the betta boxes. I released them into the Display Tank after 3 weeks. Result: 2 Survived 1 Passed On due to aggression from my existing Flame Back Angels. Crossing fingers now because the surviving 2 Flame Angels has found hiding places already. My 3 Inch Commando Size Flame Back still chase the Flame Angels occasionally. End of Sharing.
