Did you stir or aerate long enough?

I used to have that problem but after i use it only after running pumps overnight, everything clear up.

Base on the instruction you are not suppose to mix for more then 2 hours (I think).

It will become milky initially when you add the salt to the water. After mixing for 30minutes ~ 60 minutes it will become clear.

Most convenient to use a power head to mix it.

I'm using Tropic Marin Pro. Everytime after mixing, I still get some white particles undissolved. I "airstone" it overnight, the next day still got (if not more) white particles in the solution. I still go ahead with water change. Till date, no problem seen and all livestock doing well.

You MUST add SALT TO WATER, not WATER to SALT. This is extremely important. Adding water to salt causes a hypersaline condition, and pH spike. This will cause calcium carbonate to precipitate into white gooey flakes. Harmless, but irritating as sediment to livestock. Obviously, also depletes your calcium. I made this mistake once!

Why need to mix overnight? I just mix and stir on the spot for few minutes check salinity then just add it in . Cal kh mg is near to what rscp claim.

I have been using RSCP since 2011 till now with problem. IMHO, the best way is to add salt to water and aerated with pump not more than 2 hour. Water as clear as crystal.....LOL!

I usually prepare Di water, add pump in and pour salt in front of the pump. Den circulate water for 1/2 hour. And use straight away. It mixes slightly cloudy. Usually clears up within an hour after wc.

Wow, I didnt know there was such a different and i also for the 1st time added water to salt. This explain why i saw many sediment at the bottom of the pail. Lesson learned here. Thanks for sharing.
