The base of the clam too far from any structures to hold onto. Hi bro, yah, I placed it too high on the rocks and i think the clam was stress and died within 3 days. I have since bought another clam and place it on the sand bed with a dead monti plate below the clam. It. Is now holding tightly onto the monti plate and I could shift it next time if there is a need without damaging its suction pads.. The new clam is still alive!
