My Flame Angle died last night. It was my favorite fish. 1.25 years in my tank.

It was a bit sickly and was attached by the trigger.

I've a clown trigger, about 3inch now, bought it when it was a baby.

Don't know what to buy next.

Would a drawf lion fish fit in?

Still have a keyhole angle and a six-line warsse.

My 3ft tank set up with lots of rocks and caves.

Give up on corals liao, just some mushroom left.

Any advise?

So little fishes, so if 2 feet and above I dun see why not.. lions are great, go get one.. :P

...no wait.. I think lions can't be kept with triggers.. Triggers will bite the fins of the lions till they die.. better not..

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Dear All,

Any experiece of trigger plus lion?

How true is this concern?

I do think the trigger will not be intimidated by sheer size, to a certain exend.

I wouldn't be surprised. Lions are generally docile. They do not attack unless they are hunting. Given the fin size, they are rather slow movers, and may not be able to shun away from fins nibbers. Their only protection is their venomous stings which are located at their back.

Trigger + Lion = :(

Chances of trigger (esp clown) attacking and nipping the lion is high.

i keep my clown trigger with 3 other triggers, tangs and angels.

it leaves the others alone but will get irritated by their presence during feeding time. i really don't know when my clown trigger will turn psychotic and viciously attack the rest. :pinch:

clown trigger has bad attititude. they will (most probably) attack the other fishes as they age and will not tolerate their presence

but they are such great fishes: the color, the personality!
