Tank project 5ft,2.5,2 - Newbie @ punggol 21

Hi bro, have been using this settings since around Oct. Can see the zoas open up all the way and no stretching of the polyps. Previously was only around 6 inch away from the tank. Now is at 10 inch from the tank. I prefer around 5-6 hours of full light for the corals to absorb them.

Bro, just make sure the overflow is not next to your outflow.. i have to diy the pipe to place it to the end of it.. still working to get it right position.

The LR just stacking.. jeffery from westcoast aquarium help to place it.. he said if you plan too much on stacking.. its not going to get what you want.. just put piece.. its going to surpise you..

I found a long piece of LR at aquamarin to connect the 2 island.. i wanted to make it look like mbs..

Outflow mean return pipe?..return pipe same side as overflow is ok provided the flow is strong enough..u face problem with outflow same side as overflow that causes u to diy the pipe that's 45° sloping down in ur tank?..

The return pipe still working on it.. so not too ugly.. its to push the waste on the sandbed to a area easy for cleaning.

Hi buddies.. this is after 1 month setup.. cycle in 1 week with corals and fishes in 2nd week. 2 week water parameters, no major issues.. thanks to redsea products.. ATM OUTBREAK addictive is next program. Will update equipment list next..

Bro, can't really see ur return pipe outlet..so u change it to left side of ur tank?..I believe a lot of tank maker make the return flow n overflow on the same side and everything is fine..so would like to hear ur experience on this..thks

What problem u face with both at the same end? I believe at same end, lesser pipe to b used thus stronger flow..all piping hidden oso..

May be an individual preference but I would like the return to be as far from the over flow otherwise it's like a short circuit (fluid mechanics). Haha
