how to get sun coral to open..

My sun already 2 weeks in my tank. Put under semi shade. Only see abit orange from the tip. Other than that Don wan open big big

Try to entice them by squirting some food around them.

Try that already.. tried mysis, market prawn, oyster feast and even 5 in 1 coral food.. only open abit.. never even see the tentacles

Have u check your water parameters esp Ph, salinity which is one of the basic often forgotten.

They need high current flow also.

Get sun corals that have been fed after collection from the wild, when they are being held before shipping out. Helps a lot. The usual ones have not been fed in weeks that is why it's so hard to get them to open again. Iwarna does import sun corals from Australia. These open on the day of arrival.
