What types of lighting products (for marine aquarist) does iwasaki produce? Do they sell ballast and complete lighting system as well? Someone quote me a iwasaki lighting system, is that possible? Or maybe he's referring to the bulb only?

IWASAKI have lighting solutions mainly for industrial purpose but they do have a 20000K bulb which is suitable for aquarium use. They have almost everything you need for lighting but again.. they are not made for aquarium.

Most likely that fella is refering to a IWASAKI bulb, I dont think IWASAKI produce their own ballast/ignitors/casing.

EYE lighting sells control gear with enclosures that runs their bulbs.

I use their 400w 6500k SE bulbs with very good results, all my SPS are growing very fast with good colour. Those who use the saki bulbs love them for this aspect.

True full spectrum, high PAR, long life and very affordable.

You just need to use blue bulbs to balance out the harsh yellow-green colour and its a fantastic white look.

Oh, btw... you may want to hold on to your horses about that purchase, because EYE Lighting wants to work out something with SRC very very soon!

I using it for my 2ft cube SH tank so 150W is more than enuff. Will keep some softies in there too.

Will be using artinic to balance the yellowish color of the saki...

Maybe 2ft T5.

FL wattage too low I think?

The more blue the better so in this case T5 is brighter right? PL also another cheaper solution.
