Ants in skimmer?

Hi all,

was looking when my Weipro 2012 Skimmer when suddenyl I realised there some ant-like creature crawling in the chamber.... it seems that they have no problem clinging on despite the swirling water running thru the skimmer and in fact seen them "crawl" around in opposite direction to the flow of the water....

Anyone knows wat they are?

But they look pretty large in size, almost 2mm size.... are pods that big?

I think shouldn't, and probably they will end up as food for the fish?... kekeke....

It could be amphipods!
