How often to replace T5 tubes

I read at forum ppl say 6mth.. Bit i change very 8mth.

What brand? if ATI tubes, 6 - 8 months for SPS. 8-10 months for LPS/Softies.. i read 10 months onwards Algae will start to come..

Another thing i read is that other brand like aquazonic T5 every 6 months must change, if not the spectrum shift will grow algae.. purely on my old research on T5s..

Exact 6 month trick. Brand doesn't matter as long you get the good quality bulb you able to have good growth for about 6 month and for lower quality bulb you will only have around 2 to 3 month good growth.
