Hi reefers,

Anyone experience bringing home this shrimp's killer and wipe out entire shrimps gang inside your tank. Even my fireshrimp & harlequin which are as then same size as this fellow also can't escape their faith of being whack till "up the lorry". So those mini ones like sexy, anemone, clapping, piston shrimps definately "rest in peace" w/o much struggling.. I believed my fire & harlequin were being assassinated while they are molting. Heard of reefer keeping this Mystery w/o disturbing shrimps or maybe only when introduce new shrimps then she will be offensive.

So now harm is done, other than tearing down my scaping in my 1.5 nano & investing on a fish trap to catch this bloated stomach mystery. Any other methods which any reefers can advise?

Just hijacking a little... what about melanurus wrasse? Just added into my tank some time back. seems like got a few missing shrimps a few days after adding in. read up so far says that they dont disturb shrimp much but rather might go for snails so i am not sure if he is the culprit.

Thx Iskay bro for ur advice. I did research before committing to tis all time favourite wrasse. As mention, came across online tat she might nt disturb those existing shrimps & definitely nt those oversize shrimps. There's oso reefers sharing experience tat their's mysterys are nt as offensive. Tats why decided to take tis chance to own 1, but seems lik i'm nt the lucky 1. Nw r trying vy hard to catch it, no luck so far....
