haven't got a reply from him. wanna get 2nd hand cause cheaper. hahaha... the flow is not very strong right? won't be damaging even if I face it towards my lps?

eden pumps are like regular powerheads? Tunzes provide high flowrate with weak current suposedly.

ryz...once I save enough to get one 6060 then if it's too strong for my tank then I can sell you slightly cheaper.

Dunno leh..most ppl who saw my tank say a 6060 will create a sandstorm...even someone who has not seen my tank already said a 6060 is very strong for his 5 ft...dunno w0t it might do in my 4 X 1.5 X 1.5. My water height 15 inch nia...

Buy those model with speed controller.

Then you can adjust the pump speed to your requirement.

But the price are much more expensive.

Your LPS will not open up, and they may eventually be 'blown' to death after a long period. And your clam will hate it too!

Definitely too strong for your tank lar, with mainly LPS and clam only!

unless you are going to upgrade to sps or mix reef tank..

well, u can look for those wave maker (eg red sea wave maker)

that can control the on/off of several PH randomly.

Or u can put timer to the PH themselves to create the randomness.

Anyway, seems like maijet PH is recommended if you want to go

but from what i know.. switching off ph using timer will kill your ph faster and they will get spoil very fast...

well correct me if I'm wrong...

if your have high flow rate why dont use a close circuit which is better for you..

I hate the idea of puting ph in main tank.. dont know what will be kill by the ###### of the ph..

Dont think its a good ideal, RYZ. The tunze is 7000lt/hr. It is not high flowrate with low current. The current is no like normal powerhead, all con centrated in the centre. The tunze is spread out more.

But your tank is 3ft long and 1.5 wide leh. dun think your LPS will wanna open with so strong a current. Unless you keeping all SPS or get something to block the flow. But if wanna block, why waste the money to get one in the first place. just what I think.

i've used it in my 3ft tank. block by some LR. no sandstorm. good circulation, thus no unwanted algae. highly recommended.

many claimed that clams do not like high flow... but my experience so far is that its ok. my clams doing very well with 6080 in my 3 footer.
