New 3ft-2ft-2ft tank

Just brought a new tank to upgrade from 2ft to 3ft tank!.this tank is compelted with George Fisher (GF) piping and sump tank system.

This tank is gonna be a mix reef tank but more towards fish!I'm still new in this hobby so if there is anything wrong with my tank or wAter parameters pls tell me.I intend to let the tank cycle for about 3weeks.ALL THE equipments ARE COMING TMR SO excited gonna post more tmr...ALL COMMENTS AND CRITtICISM ALL WELCOMED!!

Pic3:pervious owner made an extra intake and outlet at the bottom of the tank at the back that connects directly to the chiller, so if you get sump tank pump failure or changing water your main tank temp is still maintained by chiller, also improves water circulation.

Sorry for the late update the things came late at around 8 so now then update.all the pipings and equipments and done tmr then add the saltwater into main tank!..

Equipments and things that i bought:

1.3 packs of caribsea sand(indo-pacific black and white sand)

2.red seasalt 22kg tub

3.razor 160w-16000k led light

4.hailea chiller model-HS-66A

5.bubble maus curve 7 skimmer

Ohh i will actually mix my own saltwater at first wanted to get saltwater from iwarna but heard that the saltwater is from the sea so now mixing my own saltwater:(

Bro, I notice your display tank nozzle will be pretty deep under water. (Pls. correct me if I'm wrong.)

You need to take extra precaution to prevent backflow into your sump during power outage.

Which nozzle are u talking about i got 2 one for return from sump and one for chiller!

Just to let u know my chiller water comes directly from the main tank so the 2 pipings on the bottom of the tank is for the chiller

Backflow is the suction created when your return pump gone case.

Some cases can result in flooding of your sump if the sump is not properly designed for drainage

I'm not the best person to give advice about plumbing. Haha

But maybe you can try to search ReefCentral for topics with regards to backflow and why people add a check valve to their return.

YaY can update here7 days ago just added saltwater in tank now cycling, anyone seen the new topic that i post with the tanks and equiments i am selling?anyway gonna let the tank cycle and put my livestocks after it compelty cycledl, planing to get more fishes like lemonpeel,powder bluetang and flameangel and more corals like zoas for my tank,close the pipings that sends water direcly to the chiller as it has alot of risks!!
