Welly
Hi bro is a nano tank hard to keep corals ?
Welly
Because I heard when water change must have the same water as in the tank
SRC Member Patrick Posted August 24, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 24, 2014 Because I heard when water change must have the same water as in the tank Bro, cuz the water volume is small so change small amount each time to prevent large swing in parameters. A skimmer will be useful. Small rank more difficult to keep corals? I had a 5 footer tank and can't even keep mushies lol.... Currently I use agaration no testing of parameters just watch the fishes and corals... It's challenging and it's also what makes reefing interesting
Welly
Same I also never check water parameters but only enjoy my fowlr tank As long as I do water change once every month

SRC Member Patrick Posted February 18, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted February 18, 2015 Nice tank ! I have the same tank as u but my set up don't seem works .. any tips for your set up ? Thanks bro. Actually it's been a trial and error with LPS and sps. Not very disciplined in husbandry resulting in salinity dropped sps kaput. Now back to LPS. Have a good skimmer helps. Change water 10% weekly. My two cents worth bro.
SRC Member Patrick Posted February 18, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted February 18, 2015 Very good growth rate. Time to upgrade your tank Gave away corals tat grew too big.
