Maybe can use a flat head screwdriver to ply open and see what's stuck on it?

Not much to update but tank is looking good, very slow process of setting tank up since not much $$$. Tank is basically complete, I'm getting sw from iwarna next week and need to buy some rocks, sand and wp40 then tank ready. I got a rio 20 pump from ah beng, hope it is enough. Hopefully by christmas the tank will have some coral and hopefully ill get a few nice colourful gifts from my parents to add to the reef "on my wish list from santa ": .

In the next week ill get a carbon reactor, and external temp probe and then the tank is set and ready!

It turns out that the old healia pump I had, the impeller cracked open and the impeller got bigger!! so I could get it out because it had lost its shape!!!!

I had to get my 20 year old cousin to pull it out! he was on vacation from Australia. Its crazy the pump impeller got bigger and out of shape!!!!!

Dun quite get what u mean by impeller become bigger. Any pics?

ok, the impeller actually expanded when it cracked and is all out of shape!

Why Not go for a.smaller tank like 2ft cube Which will SAVE a lot for equipments and maintenance?

Yea i agree, as i dont have much money I think ill make the 4ft tank into a fish only and maybe get a 1.5 or 2ft tank for coral.
