Looks more like a Scoly than a brain coral to me. Anyway nice pic of it in feeding mode.

Thanks for correcting me. I am bad with names. Yes, it's Scolymia or Button Coral (looks like a shirt button really).

Just to share...

Took some photos with iPhone of Button coral having a meal of a piece of MP. Pardon me for my lousy photography.

First shot - Coral with it's tentacles extended.

Second shot - MP dropped onto tentacles, looks like it is swallowing it.

Third & Fourth shots - MP already eaten. You can see a little hump over the surface where the MP was dropped.

When you actually touch the green portion it is actually quite soft.

Just to share another update...

My 6 cm Lobo ate a 3.5cm ocellaris clownfish last night! :chair:

Didn't know I have monster corals in the tank.

Here's a shot of the swollen coral (can see some orange colour, not able to show up in the phone camera) after the meal.
