Hi guys..im doing diy led and wonder if connecting 2 led driver to one 3 Pin plug head will damage the led driver in long term? Coz i have a couple of led drivers to power up and it would be using up alot of plug if i use 1 plug for 1 driver.. What are the alternatives if i want to power all driver using 1 plug?

Should not be a problem. But you have one disadvantage. All those under the same 3 pin plug will on and off at the same time.

Yea.. No way of controling the lights.. Will try to source out a way..

I have 4 LED drivers (3x controllable) connected to one power cord and all the dimming effects are controlled by my Profilux light II controller.

Refer to my DIY thread,

Why don't you just but a 12V adaptor (like those handphone charger or similar) then wire your LEDs in series to achieve 12V per circuit...

eg. 4 x 3V LED in series = 12V

Assuming each LED is 3 watt, then have 3 sets of this to get a total of 36W light set... :D

LED needs constant current. Using 12v adapter, the current changes when the LED's temperature increased which lead to output decrease and the life span deteriorate overtime leh. Please take note.
