My newly bought anemone ate my chromis today!!

No lei.. I was feeding my fish then one of the pellets drop on the carpet anemone.. The chromis go eat and the anemone close up with the whole fish.. Gone within mins

Thats very unfortunate. Chromis are known to be agile swimmers, and gullible eaters. I have one before who would 'standby' whenever i walk around the tank. Theyll just zip around the tank where food is concern. The most kiasu fish i had lol.

wah...my clowns is hosting on my big carpet i feed w mp while the clown is sleeping on it....so far the carpet dun close up like Yuma does...strange

Clowns benefit from a special layer around their body that anemone wont recognise as food. Belive me, once your clown is sick or dying, the anemone will still eat it like any other fish. I have witness before in my own tank.
