Advise on tank location

Hi all, I know its too early but I need some ideas on where can i place my new tank. Planning to get a 3x3x2 mainly SPS tank. Attached is a picture of my place. Many thanks in advance.

I remembered someone mentioned to me that for fensgshui reason. better to place on the left of the door.

From the blue print, the place that marks 2050 seems ideal. living room corner where the kitchen is

Plus is so near the toilet so can get get hose to drain water or top up the salt mix. swee

I second the location Liquidnoise mentioned, you can easily provision an aircon compressor for chilling purposes in your aircon ledge or service yard, considering the ease of pipes laying.

you can drill a hole to toilet for your top-up or drain... also you can put some equipments in the toilet or kitchen

I think an L shaped tank at 2050 against two walls is possible.

OR

A tank that divides the living an dining; with 3 sides viewing.

Can have a drainpipe (fitted with valve) from the tank to the toilet. Just need to turn the valve and water will be discharged. No more messy flexible tube when doing WC.

Compressor , topup tank can put in the kitchen.

near to toilet, easy to clean/wash or whatever.

I would assume your main door is at 1500? Standing and looking out of the main door what's is your compass direction or facing?

If you can, give me the exact compass degrees (e.g. 123 degrees). To begin with, your current layout already has a serious Feng Shui flaw, without looking at the facing.

3ft =915 mm , can place in front of household shelter.(not the one beside shelter door)

The 2050 wall next to WC2 is solid black in the floorplan.. means its a main pillar so no drilling is allowed

Thanks all for the input. Im considering 2050 as well. But my main concern if my fish tank is there im not sure if my dinning table can be place beside the small space beside the household shelter.

I might heck down the kitchen wall as well.

I beg to differ.

I place my tank to the right of my door.

No issues at all.

You should consider the overall design and ergonomics aspects as a whole so that the tank proves to be not only a eye candy but also an area that allows you to do access or maintanence with ease.

Of course, it applies to me cos FS is something that is zero as it is not in line with my faith.

So end of the day, it's up to you but it works fantastic for me ya.

2050 area looks good to me too but I will also consider the area 90 degree clockwise to 2050 as i do not enjoy it when the side of the tank forms part of the entrance way to the rooms.

Just my personal preference.

Location 2050 sound best for the tank u can enjoy the tank at dinning & living room and will still have space to walk around and ,no direct sunlight Cheers

I will recommend the 2050 like what everyone recommends as it is the most convenient place, especially for tank maintenance. That area will also not have unwanted sunlight lighting up your tank. If the dining table have to be place at the 2050 area, then I will recommend placing against the wall of 1800, beside the bomb shelter. This will allow you to view your fishes when you are watching tv and when your guests are seated at your sofa. Make it flush with the wall and it will look nice!

My new house layout is similar. Good idea leh :-)
