Iwarna @ 1230:

Came in many interesting specimens... Lots of sexy, harlequin, arrow crabs, yt, moorish, glass anemone shrimps, glass shrimp(yellow variant), anthias, sunrise dotty, red scooter, few weird shrimps, blue eye cardinals, possum wrasse... And the usual fishes and corals.

Some bros looking for a tiny flame angel?

attachicon.gifimage.jpg

This was in the pico display tank, 1inch+ baby, not sure its for sale.

To the bro who reserved the yellowbrown scopas tang, im also interested, please pm if u are willing let go! Thanks and happy reefing!

this tiny flame is just as rare as the yellow scopas.

the origin of this flame angel is from the Philippines. Almost all the flames you see for sale are collected from Marshall islands and the surrounding areas. Very few come from Hawaii where they are locally rare. Even fewer come from Philippines, where they are at their limit in terms of their distribution.

Philippine flames are more orange in color, and because are rare locally finding a mate of the same species is not as easy and they more often than not, mate with the more abundant and closely related rusty angel to produce rusty x flame, or false shepardi angel offsprings.

yes, a normal flame from marshall/christmas islands is so much easier and nicer to obtain. a normal hawaiian yellow tang is so much yellower and nicer than the brown scopas. but knowing the story behind these unusual fish makes it all the more enjoyable and special! just sharing in case some people are wondering what all the fuss is about for these 2 normal looking fish. :)

U happen to know to price?
Sorry bro was there rather quickly didn't ask the price. On top of that, there was a couple of asfurs, a rather nice rusty with spots that formed straight lines and not the random spots all over (its not v obvious until u put it side by side with another rusty but nice nonetheless), tiny clown trigs, 2 multibar left and 2 hybrid yellow/scopas tang.

Apart from Auntie and Ah Beng in Pasir Ris who always carry live adult brine shrimps, does anyone know where else to get them, especially in the west area? Non-marine aquariums are fine too. Thanks!

btw, any fish or shrimp shipment that can eat bristle worms?
Usually most wrasse will eat bristles, but commonly used is the sixline wrasse... But beware of aggression when i grows bigger...
