3stage crystal pro di unit

Hi all,I bought a new 3stage crystal pro di unit.However i cant seems to get low reading.first time is about 64,2nd time is about 30plus.I am already dripping at very very slow rate.A cup of water to test it took about 1hour plus to drip.Anybody can advise?

I gt tk out the cartridge and insert back after cant get the right reading.Apparently still the same.May i know for crystal pro di unit how long it needs to fill 1red pail of water?

Beside the DI Cartridge, double check did you put the input and output correctly or not. Don't fix the output to you tap water there. If not, try to call back the shop tomorrow

Should be 1 carbon -> 2 di resin cartridge.

doesn't matter.. 1 carbon + 2 DI Resin or 2 carbon/mix sediment + 1 DI Resin also can.. Depend the emphasis. Cheers.

my tap water also 60+ TDS.. i run mine through a 1 carbon + 2 resin in a crystal pro unit.. resin carbon bought from madpetz since the original was used up.. it took me probably only 1 hour or so to make 30L of water..and yes my TDS is 0. Im guessing you insert your cartridge wrongly.. or try to run it faster see what happens.

Yeap. Did u get ur Di 2nd hand? If yes, the resin is probably exhausted

Bros,i put it at slow flow i get 30plus reading.I blast full tap max i get best result 8.Any idea whats wrong?i thought suppose to be slow flow better?blast full i get better result but i still can't get below 8

Have you tried taking out the cartridge and giving it a good shake before installing it back? Drain and throw away water inside the cartridge holder.

Yes bro each testing i will drain out all water n on tap again.

Including shaking the di resin in the cartridge? Do u dry them first or immediately on tap after fixing in cartridge?

Bro i use 2 stage DI unit from madpetz about 18 month fine draw out water TDS meter show 0.

The resin in cartridge might be expired. Maybe try to get a free replacement from where u got it and indicate the problem that u can't achieve 0 TDS. I used to have a cartridge that can only achieve 30plus at best.

For a working DI filter, no need to be very slow flow. I can normally get 1 pail in an hour n maybe more but i dont do that so that the water will have long contact time with carbon.

Ensure ur container is clean n not the one you use for mixing saltwater.

Ensure your container is clean and drain away the first 1 litre if you never use your RO/DI unit for more then a week
