Salifert Calcium Test Kit Help

Can anyone help me, i really getting pissed with Salifet test kit, its already 10x i did it and i cant take it no more.

Instruction says to look for Pink-Red after swirling Ca1 n Ca2. God Damn, it only shows me pinkish purple. From my understandings, it Redish Pink, to purplish pink to obvious blue.

Can someone help me. to say its is expired, the date stated there in 2018 expire.

Bro, did u use ca3 using the syringe to test based on each drop? U should be aiming for blue color.

yes i did... still, i only see purplish pink through out the whole test.

Try use another kit to test. Or get someone to try yours to verify. U never know, your test kit might be something wrong.

Bro, most likely your calcium level is out of range. Meaning is more than 500++++ or even 600+++. That's why u can't get the blue colour

Why do't you make a small amount of saltwater n measure the ca. This should give you within 400-450 range just to confirm your test kit.

hehehe found the problem. I think i'm either color blind or really dont know colors. hahahha.. While i'm still seeing purple, other people in my family has already seen it blue. My Badddd. calcium is at 480..

I even have problems with API KH/ALK test kit. While it is yellow, i still see light green. hahahaha.

Is there any cure for colorblindness.

Luckily the magnesium test kit is easier to spot.

Before using Salifert Ca n Mag test kit, i used to use Tropic Marine test kit, god damm the light is blue is hard to see.

Well i can see obvious colours, I'm diagnose with a color blind with a test card. ouh well.

Well the funny thing is, when i see people doing it in utube videos, i can see the colour. Lighting issue maybe?

I noticed if my razor shines on my tube when testing. I can barely see the color. Must use home normal white light against a white background

yeah, lighting issues, Need to get a table lamp and buy a white light bulb. My home is full of yellow light.
