Can i add fishes now?

I've added BioMature to my tank, i've tested for the nitrite, the reading is 1mg/l . My tank is currently a 3 ft tank without any equpiment yet. I've added salt and some dead sand into the tank. since my nitrite is kind of low, can i add fishes in at this timing?

Ur nitrite may be rising.. Not falling.. Even so, at 1ppm is potent enuff to kill many fishes.

You Gotton your live rocks to cycle the tank? Adding fishes at the moment is detrimental and your fishes may die

Yes must be zero for ammonia & nitrite.
