Need Help on DIY Water Faucet

Hi DIY Gurus,

I am think of modifying my water container with a add on water faucet for ease of extracting water out into my tank during water change. Shown in the picture below

The problem is my container is those typical dosing container which has small opening which I can't access the inside and seal it off. If I use epoxy, not sure if it is good for water or if it is poisonous Need to ensure water won't leak and the sealant used is not harmful.... thinking of using a bulkhead fitting but no way I can access from inside to tighten it

Need some ideas please. Thanks

get those sealant used for your tank? i guess good enuf for tank should be good enuf for your container...prolly can get at c328 or other fish shop. would be crazy for a fish shop to sell sealant that harms our tank.

Here you go, it's a 20L type.

I am researching online, it seems there are some bulkhead that can 'self' screw on but mostly in US website.

I thought of applying heavily on silicon, but I think silicon isn't good with plastics

Just my thought...may workable If you container body is hard enough, use those bulkhead to screw in with silicon but make sure your drilled hole must be smaller than the bulk head.

U can use DD expoxy and it is reef safe too. Make surface rough so glue or expoxy will stick well.

Tank Theme: Mixed Reef with clams

3 feet tank with IOS

Eheim 1262

K3 wavemaker x1

Lightings: T5 actinic blue x4 , T5 white x4

Skimmer: BMQQ

Artica 1/5

Dosing: NA

Reefing is sharing. People with rotten mouth is sure a loser for life as expected. When a tomato gets rotten, you can nvr save it.. Throw it away before it infect the good ones.

Bro jeff. Instead of finding a way to install IT at bottom of container, why not just turn container arround. Make the top as the bottom. So u juat need to install IT on the cap. And turn ur container 90 degree.

Sounds good, I think this will work. Now got to find a suitable size drill bit

That is another option too! It seems that this container was designed to be used this manner. Haven't need to extend a hose from it thou, else will spill big time. I think
