Bro, for small flame angels u can try CF. i saw 2 one inch size ones 2 weeks ago... Can call and check, that was the second time i have seen such small angels at CF.... Theres no such thing as 100% reef safe angels, some will never touch coral ever, some will make a staple meal outa them... Its a hit n miss thing, even for flame angels... I have bought a lemonpeel from a LFS, which told me that they are reefsafe, only to have it ate my cynarina and some zoas... But flame angels are considered one of the safest angels among the dwarf angels that will leave corals alone... It all depends on luck... So, good luck!

Flame is very safe. The worst dwarfs to keep in reefs are the eibli complex which are - vroliki, flavissima and eibli. Your lemonpeel belongs here.

I've tried a small group (1 male 3 female) in a mixed reef. No problems. Hit or miss but in general, flames are very safe.

Not easy to pair flame angel even you get a male & female.. anyway, flame angel born hermaphroditic when juv.. they change sex when growth. Try small specimen you got high chance. as long as no aggression.

Below some learning for sharing.. In general observation. Male exhibited more black stripes/bars on body & dorsal than female.. Also, male size bigger..
