chiller for 2 tier tanks

If water flows from Tank 1 into Tank 2, and then from Tank 2 into Chiller, and then from Chiller back into Tank 1.

Technically speaking, in this set up, Tank 1 will experience a lower temperature than Tank 2. Temperature difference between tanks would depend on tank size, temp setting & ambient temperature.

this setup would be like that of a typical Dt and sump setup... If tank 1 (DT) flow to tank 2 (Sump) and connected to chiller it will work...

Based on the flow rate thru the chiller, i don't think the difference btw top and bottom tank would diff much.

If bottom tank warms up, the chiller would kick in cooling down water and moving it down to bottom tank... Once initially chilling is complete should be fine
