using old T5 for refugium

Hi Bros,

I have an old set of 4 tubes T5 lights which I intend to use it to grow chaeto in the refugium.

However, I think using 2 of the 4 tubes would be sufficient.

Can I just remove 2 tubes for the set? Apologies, I am bad at electrical matters.
