Does irwarna or madpetz sells zeovit coral vitalizer?

Don't think there is any more LFS selling Zeovit product since RD stop bringing them in the product some time back.

Unless there is balance stocks.

Good luck in your hunt ;)

A fish that is noted as an aberration is simply born with a deviation from the usual coloration. A buyer will usually be disappointed when it slowly reverts back to its original coloration unless it suddenly exits the tank via illness. The pain is like paying almost 10 times the price for an orange -fleshed durian only to find that its taste is nothing special.

there are transient aberrants and there are permanent aberrants.

transient aberrants are usually fish with very funky and out of this world coloration such as the "koi" type angels. these are often seen in very large specimens of coral beauty, bicolor angels and the midnight angel. also the famous koi tangs such as the tricolor yellow tangs. these will almost always revert to normal, or shift their coloration in our tanks. no one really knows why. transient aberrants include also xanthic morphs and some deepwater morphs.

permanent aberrants are those with not so extreme color change and will not revert back to normal. differentiating between transient and permanent aberrants can save you the disappointment of color reversal.

this bicolor angel is a permanent aberrant, and not a transient "koi" bicolor.

sorry for off topic, but here are some images of transient aberrants that will almost certainly morph back, although not always 100%, back to normal in captivity.

Ah Beng

Clown Tangs

Sohal Tangs

1 x Golden Butterfly

1 x Pakistan Butterfly

Yellow Bellied Regals

Tiny to Medium Emperor Angels

Both sailfin tang type

Small Cream Angels

Quite a number of dispar anthias

2-4 RBTAs. One piece very pink but unhealthy already.

Iwarna like what Lemon posted.

The watanabeis are very cute. A couple of healthy looking venustus. And for the normal fishes, there's a 3-4inch almost barless maroon clown.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes

Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don't want to impress people they don't like.

no it is an aberrant.

as mentioned before, there are 2 kinds of aberrations. those that will morph and revert, and those that will stay as aberrations permanently. this is the permanent kind. how to tell if a fish is a hybrid? a hybrid is the crossing of two or more distinct and different species. so the fish must possess traits of multiple species to show it is a hybrid. this is a pure 100% looking bicolor angel with different coloration only. since there are no other traits of other species, it is an aberrant.

so as not to dilute this thread, feel free to PM me or take this discussion to the hybrid and rare fish thread in the reef fish section if you want to know more. i can show you countless of examples of aberrations that are both transient and permanent.
