Phosphate Removal

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have been having problems with diatom growth in my tank and am thinking of ways to reduce the problem, wat are the better brands of phosphate removal media in the market? i know Rowaphos is good, but how much and how expensive for a 2 ft tank, and where to buy?

Besides Rowaphos, anyone using any other brands?

Thanks!

Justin

Alternatively, can consider Seachem Seagel.

It removes organic and color impurities, phosphates, silicates, toxic metals and acids. SeaGel™ is ideal for reef and marine aquarium use, particularly for algae control.

250 mL for each 40-60 gallons for only $12.

diatom is a on going event which happens in everyone tanks. JUst do daily clearing if they are an eye sore to u ..

Or introduce some turbo snails..
