its been so long since i last updated, filled the tank with nsw from iwarna on friday

after filling

and got some live rocks from a fellow reefer here

the sand makes the tank dusty

and after 1 hr 30mins , cleared up !

cycling procedure now. super boring !

still need to hunt around 30kg of liverock !

oh btw , the led is only 16cm above the water , thats why the sides have shadow

btw , the internal overflow has 2 holes. 1 35mm and another hole 25mm. the bigger one is drain and smaller is for return right ?

played around with the rocks and came up with this , plan to add more rocks to the right. and left side will be bare. comments ? btw which website did you guys went , to reduce the picture size ? i reduced from 2mb to 10kb , and quite blur

Yup, will definitely lift the lightset up higher from 16cm to about 23-25cm.

Cant feel any heat surrounding at all. Satisfied xD

Cant imagine heat releasing into the house, the distance between tank and sofa is very near or heating up the sump tank after cooling

Also can help to dry my clothing faster outside..

checking ammonia,nitrite,nitrate everyday , took me 9days to complete cycle.

98% of liverocks were from a establish tank from another bro

but now already day 20 after water in ( 11th days after cycled ) still havent add lifestock. because havent setup chiller haha. ( just set it up yesterday )

most probably will be adding lifestock today.. hopefully ( if got time )

Nice! How long does your chiller take to bring down 1 degree?

My this chiller i set it at 28, take 2 hrs to chill from 29 to 28.

and take 7 hours to kick in.

Dont know why take so long to chill haha. Using 3000l pump to feed.

Maybe too high flow ? The chiller output hose i put it directly at the entrance of return pump. will be setting to 27degree soon

Added lifestock yesterday , added 1 false perc, 1 maroon, 1 dottyback, 1 cleaner shrimp, 1 blue tang, 1 yellow tang and 1 fish dont know what name ( yellow top, purple below, look like royal gramma )

Where do you guys place the output hose from chiller?? Directly very near return pump or in the sump at the other end from the return pump?

I notice when i place it at the other end, take 1 hr to cool 1 degree (temperature rise faster) and directly to return pump takes 3 hours (temperature rise slower)
