added another 25kg of LR and rescape again . I was looking for the Y-split for a long time , cant find it in any lfs , thus bought it from ebay for $14 since i need it urgently , then 1 week later went to madpetz , there only sell 7$

yesterday hooked up the biopellet also. Y splitted it , so should be about 1500L/hr flow rate or so and the pellets is tumbling alot(loudest noise from the tank).

tank abit cloudy now , should be cleared soon and nitrate is now 80. (very high) . no loss of lifestock for the time being and coral is doing well. hope the biopellet will bring it down by next week.

able to maintain consistent mg,cal,alk thanks to the dosing pumpp.

also bought the jebao dc6000 from iwarna. got a refund from fish-street since they out of stock for quite long and buying in sg is cheaper by 20$ silent and powerful. running at max speed. loving it !

Cant imagine heat releasing into the house, the distance between tank and sofa is very near or heating up the sump tank after cooling

Also can help to dry my clothing faster outside..

Haha i took it out because this idea doesn't Work due to the back pressure. Amd thr window is just above the chiller, and the heat is really negligible haha.

Upgraded the chilelr from hs66 to hs90a. It takes 36min to chill to 26degree instead of 1hour. Also added 2x54w delighting (blue+ and purple+) to supplement the colour. Nitrate drop to 40 from 80 in 1week. Hopefully will drop further to 0 LOL.

Hang the lighting by tying with copper wire. Love this t5 with the price!

The box made for this external themp controlllr is too bulky. Lazy to cut, so just left it as it is. Cant wait for nitrate to drop further more then chiong sps xD

I don't think copper wire is the best wire to use to hang. Not reef safe if it fails and drops into the water. I doubt it will fall, but you should have some safety measures in case it happens!

Actually wanted to hang to ceiling. But too much work. No worries! 101% wont drop! tied it every 20cm away, its very strong LOL frthermore lightset is not heavy hahah

Thanks bro. Not nice at all lah hhaha so EMPTY! erm, cool to 26degree in 36min , then chiller off for 1hr 56min then cool again. The flowrate used for this chiller is around 2000~2500L/hr. Btw anyone giving away chaeto? Preferably to be in tampines haha ( im lazy ) and will collect when i get my par38 for fuge in about 3weeks time

feel free to take a rough gauge from my calculation of how much i spend. if full tank set without equipment with tank (same dimension as me) , sump(same dimension) and cabinet with all the pipings and delivery done for you, its around $1400-$2000 depend who made the tank for you.

I see that you are using bare copper wires to tie... have to watch out for corrosion... never under estimate the power of salt water!

you can do it with less than $3k bro, but better equipment cost more Youdontknowme is keeping more "advanced" corals so his set up costs more. You can cut down the costs a lot (etc. Buy second hand tank, &more second hand stuff). Don't let the cost be an issue! There is always a way!

never update for super long !

got a nudi outbreak at first , bought yellow coris to wipe them out but failed. then bought a melanurus wrasse which wipe them out. Also added 2x54W t5ho blue+ and purple+ , really like the led + t5 combo ! taking picture much easier with t5 on rather than led only.

added some sps , the speed im going super slow ! really broke LOL all bought with allowance only.

just realised there is colour difference between seeing pics in phone and lappy. colours in my lappy looks super fade ! overall tank still look very bare to me
