mysis and brine shrimps cubes

Notice nutrients start to go high whenever I feed brine shrimps or mysis cubes to my fishes. Excess nutrients have a negative impact on the sps colours from my observations. Would like to find out how you guys prepare the cubes before feeding?

soak 2-3 cubes of mysis with tank water until defroze
use plastic strainer to strain out the water
soak in garlic guard for 5-10 mins
use plastic strainer to strain the excessive garlic guard
feed
