me newbie...care to comments on my 4 mths old setup marine tank..

For the lighting you have and the corals you are keeping, like mushrooms and zoanthids is OK. If you use MH, you ought to place your some species of your mushrooms (Actinodiscus/Discosoma- smooth type without the pimples -Rhodactis) in the lower half of the tank shaded or partly shaded by the rocks.

Your current lighting is not sufficient for most of the other corals, looks like you are aware of it as the corals you have does not depend on intense lighting.

Overall you have made a very good start into this hobby, Give yourself a pat on the back.

i'm actually fall in love with mushrooms and zoos.

for the lighting i'm using 4 x 36w jbj pl(cool) and 2 x 36w arcadia actinic fl.
