How to get off of pyramid snail

Have this maxima clam for one month+ but not opening up fully. This evening spotted 2 pyramid snails on the shell. Manage to remove them,how to completely get rid of the snails? Has a yellow wrasse in the tank now,do I need to add reinforcement like six line and mystery wrasse to assist. Read on other forum to check the clam for snails after light off 2-3 hours later.
