1. i am currently waiting for the tap water in my tank to become DI water. TDS is at 18 now. Was wondering if i can add in the redsea SAFE chlorine remover while i am running resin? or do i have to wait till TDS reaches 0 than add in the chlorine remover?

2. If say it is after TDS reaches 0, how long do i have to wait before i add in my saltmix??

tank is 260 litre. running a wp40 inside right now to circulate the water around.

thanks for the advice in advance :) first time doing my own di water.

If u are running your water through RO/DI unit with carbon , the carbon will remove the chlorine in the tape water so you dont need to add anymore remover.

Once the tape water pass through the RO/DI filter, you can start adding your salt mix.

nope not running through carbon.

basically i filled my tank with tap water. running a FR with resin within filter bag inside waiting for tds to reach 0.

Should i add in a bag of carbon now? or just use redsea Safe?

current tds is at 8
