hi all can outdoor flood light use for marine aquarium tank?

it is metal hilide 150w 240v 50/60hz

MH-DE 150w/uvs/fs/6k

if can? daily open 4-5hours enough for soft coral like brain,bubble ,elegane ,mushroom ,clam .?

Bright for our eyes does not mean good for corals. Apart from that, spectrum it gives out has to be taken into considerations as well. Then why there are companies building & selling MH if floodlights re suitable?

i think it's the bulb that matters. 6.5k seems for planted.

10k n above is good. i saw before 1KW MH used on tank.
