Can filtered water from Drinking Water Systems be used?

Has anyone used such water for their tank? I'm refering to those water filtered from our home drinking water systems such as Alkali water. Understand that these water are filtered through several filter stages.

I use them. Filtered alkaline water. So far so good. No algae bloom or anything.

Great! I was wondering if i can use it but that would also mean i need to change my alkali water filter more often!

Im currently using hexagon alkaline water. The tds is 80 . Mine confirm will cause algae

Do I need to stop using it? I don't have ro at home.... How about using tap water for salt mixing(water change)?....tnx....

I m using h2o water filter too.. So far so gd.. But diatoms is coming on one side of the tank due to direct sun light from the window...(not sure if this is the case)??

I just bought a TDS meter and measured my alkaline water..... 83......

But I'm using it..... But got high Ph lvl....I'm using Hyq Hexagonal alkaline water....
