Finally, days DIY drilling, spraying, linking and leak test, my display tank 2 is up with 2 clownfishes and a few soft corals. It's quite bare and hoping add more things soon...

Nice..I oso have plan to do like this but its 1 tank for FOWLR n the other for corals..but plan strongly discouraged by my Co..

My CO stand is simple... So long dun use her $, our $ and dun ask her to change water+ move/DIY fish tank, then no problem with her. I saw reef central a lot of people running multiple display tanks connect with same sump. Save equipments n also I just need to do WC on 1 system instead of 2.

Haha bro..the problem is my $ is her $..joke aside.. Having all tanks connected got pro n con..pro is like what u have say, con will b if 1 tank got problem, the rest will kana oso Coz all sharing water..FOWLR can have lower salinity but reef tank can't..temperature a concern too..

Anyway both my tanks will be reef and I'm more towards reef rather than fishes . So much lesser work as just maintain only 1 system.
