Legent
Hi guys, Just going through a decomm and now suffering from 'side effects' of not reefing. Just wondering what do you guys turn to when you stop reefing? Go into freshwater? FOWLER? Or what else?
SRC Member Hon Posted June 13, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted June 13, 2013 Start fishing. That's what I did. Ha ha
SRC Member peacemaker Posted June 13, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted June 13, 2013 If you truly wanna break away from this hobby, not visiting SRC is a good start. Otherwise, the "poison" here will coax you back into reefing again.

Kayakkite
Fishing is closely linked to reefing. Once, you pull up a piece of unique coral from the sea, the cycle will start all over again.
HappyReef
I think before u decomm, u must hv seriously think over. you should stick to the reason why u decomm. If there r still some avail free time, maybe u can look into fowler which don't take up much of your time n effort in maint. But currently if u hv no avail time slot, it is best that u don't see this forum anymore if not it will lure u back. Try to do things which u did before u start marine hobby. SRC Member Hon Posted June 13, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted June 13, 2013 When you pull out a piece of nori from the sea, you'll start missing your beloved AT. 5 yrs after decomm, I start my reef tank again, now I can't find time to go pull nori.... SRC Member iskay Posted June 14, 2013 SRC Member Share Posted June 14, 2013 Remind yourself of the time you gained and money you saved all the time... So that you can use that time and money for other things. But then again, what better hobby to spend your time and money on but reefing!?!?!? LOL Quote "Be formless... shapeless, like water. Dun reef depend on what reason u given to urself..so curb the urge to restarting by thinking of the reason..its like I quit smoking after 13yr by thinking smoking is a waste of $ n it work..
