Office tank upgraded

Just upgraded my office tank (due to leaking issues) to the Aquarama Marine Competition tank (made by Aquatic Style). My biggest tank setup so far, so thought I could use some advices from fellow reefers.

Here's a picture of the old 2x2x1 feet tank vs the new 3x2x2 ft tank.

Moved my old sump to the new tank including the rocks, hopefully can kick start the cycle.. need to get more rocks tho.. will keep posting photos and updates. Advices are greatly appreciated!

Tank Size: 3x2x2 Feet
Return Pump: Sicce Extrema 2500
Lighting: AQUAZONIC SUPER BRIGHT T5 Dimension 90cm x 20cm. Watt : 4 x 39W Tube colour : 2 X sun white and 2 X actinic blue
Wavemaker: 1x SUNSUN 3000l/hr
Skimmer: Skimz E-Series SM121

what are you intending to keep?

Mainly LPS and soft corals. As its at my office, won't be able to monitor the water parameters religiously.. Fishes wise probably quite standard, clowns, gobies, anthias and a few tangs

Anyway here's a photo of the sump.post-21059-0-45039500-1370864366_thumb.j

Anthias are social fishes that do well in groups. Are you sure about keeping them and a few tangs together? The tank size and the bioload are issues you need to consider carefully.

Aquarium 3 - 250 liters with sump and refugium

Jebao DC 6000 pump with speed controller

Skimz skimmer

AI Hydra 52 HD

Hailea HS-66A (1/4 hp) chiller

Maxspect Gyre

TLF Phosban reactors with Phosban

Tunze nano osmolator

Marine Magic Triplet Dosing

Aquarium 1 - 27 litres

Atman HF-0600 HOB filter

Maxspect Razor Nano 60W (10,000 K)

AOL 60 litres chiller

Tunze Nano Osmolator

Thanks for the reminder! Might go for things like sunburst that do well in small groups and keep to 2-3 tang :)

Just done up the rockscape, added a phosban reactor from two little fishes.

Added some corals from my previous tank. Tank should be ready for fishes soon :)

Photos are of lousy Iphone 5 quality. Will upload some using my DSLR when there's more livestock.

Anyway guys, I have just gotten another TLF phosban reactor 159 to run bio pellets. Tried to make e pellets spin around in e reactor by using a 2000l pump. However, it seems to only tumble even after I reduce E number of pellets..is that good enuff? Or e pellets will get lighter after a while n start spinning??

I thought so too. It was opening up well then. Most probably cuz u jus increase e salinity to 1.026.. I have shifted down to 1.024.. Hopefully it's better. Anyway, won't be putting any more sps for the moment. Thanks alot! Will do well to resist e temption with helpful seniors like you giving me timely reminders :)

Ya. Think I used more LR recommended. Was more concerned about having more live rocks to help in keeping nutrients down and e pods. Will putting in another wave make help? Currently my diablo dc return pump is 3500l/hr, with a 3000 resun wave maker blowing at each other. I am still trying to adjust e waves to a sweet spot. At some angles, it will cause my LPS to retract. Probably due to e direct flow.

Agreed with bro james72 removing some rocks or rescape in a way where flow won't be too restricted.
