Yes it's definitely possible although you should try to get one that is small. But if your tank does not have a powerful skimmer and if the clam shows any sign of tissue regression, it's best to remove it immediately to prevent any pollution and contamination of the water, which can happen rapidly with a dying clam in a small volume of water.

Thanks bros for your advice. I have a baby clown trigger so looks like clam is not suitable.
