Kayakkite
In fact, I'm using it for my 3ft. So far so good. It's quiet.
mw1611
Good enough but it does take awhile to cool. I was using a HC300A too, then decided to upgrade to HS90A (1/2HP).
Aldrick
Thanks bro for the replies. That model i find it warm. How often does it kick in?
Kayakkite
You meant the exhaust warm? All chiller will be quite warm when activated. It's better to place outside.
reby
1/2 HP is gd 4 3 ft less than 5 min to kick...
mw1611
Thanks bro for the replies. That model i find it warm. How often does it kick in? Hmm.. Sorry.. I'm not home often enough to tell how often it kicks in. But in comparison to the HC300A, when i was using the 300A, I always hear it on when I come home and feels like it was constantly running.. But with the HS90, I don't hear it kick in that often and on the average think it takes bout 10-15mins to cool 0.1 degrees. And yup, as what bro kayakkite say, all chillers will have a warm exhaust, or rather, should have.. Otherwise means something abnormal liao.. Haha.. Aldrick
Thanks guys but if keep on kick in house very warm sia
mw1611
Hmm.. If heat is your concern, I believe the only way to go about it is to install a condenser unit that sits outsider. But honestly speaking, the heat generated from my 1/2hp chiller, doesn't significantly affect the temperature in my house.
kraken
compressor is more energy efficient in the long run, my 1hp daikin takes 2mins and 30secs to bring temperature down by 0.1 deg, doesnt kick in that often also. Plus it is housed in the air con ledge, thus in the living room, there is no noise and heat.
yourdi3
yup agree also Compressor kicks in fast and kicks out fast and that equals saving electrical bills
