Hailea Chiller Hc 500A cooling

Is it normal for 1/2 chiller with flow abt 1800L/hr take 60min to cool from 28degree to 27degree? I noticed it takes 1 hr to go down 1 degree..

Trying to maintain 26 degrees. The chiller rest for 1- 1.5 hrs than kicks in again...

What's your total water volume?

about 400liters plus.. its a 4x2x2 tank

1/2hp is a little under powered. do you want to consider a compressor?

my 1HP compressor takes 2mins 30 secs to cool 0.1 deg.

Would love to have compressor but space gonna be an issue. And my wife warned me about having wires and trunking all over the house

Is it the initial cooling or the normal daily cooling?

My new Hailea 1hp took less than 40 min to cool from 27 to 26c and rest for around 2.5 hrs on a hot day.

Tank is around 1000 litre and using external controller to control the chiller
