German Power plugs

Hi Guys, need to buy a few of the powerplugs which are the standard in germany. Those round plugs with only 2 pins and the pins are rounded type. Do any of you know where I can find these type of powerplugs in singapore? Thanks in advance for any leads...

You can go to NTUC to buy an European Schuko plug to local 3-pin convertor. It cost $7.90 each. I using 8 of them and its grounded for safety too. 1 convertor for 1 plug hor ...

If what you wanted is those 4-6 gang European Schuko plug extension kind, it would cost $300+

Another cheaper alternative is cut the plug and wired it to a 3-pins.

Cost $1.50 only

but remember...some gadgets when u cut off the wire and rewire yourself, they may void the warranty...so it's best to use converter if you get wat i mean..hehe

Tats why i never cut mine. Even my Hailea chiller also using the round Schuko plug .. pengz ..

The extension Euro Plug I can get for you when I go to Frankfurt next time if you are not in a hurry. 8 gang with 3 meter only cost euro$20 or less. But you have to change the main plug to std sin 3 pin with ground. If use an adapter, then plug into the wall, you loose the grounding.

If you have a urgent need, i have a 1m 3 gang extension can pass to you and you may need modification.

Bros, the problem is that I have a powerstrip that accepts only the round schuko plug so I need to convert our standard powerheads to the shunko type plugs

I mean you need a BS1363 3-pin to Schuko plug convertor ar?? Then you have to hunt for it liao...

Get what you mean. Those plugs also quite cheap there, only euro$1 each. will help you to source if you cannot get it in Sim Lim.

Go to Suntec Vinmart and they sell the multi-extension coil that have the German type plug.

I remember it does not cost $300+

NTUC do sell this convertor. But the problem is the earth pin of the 3-pins plug sit over the convertor thereby blocking on the Schuko socket.

I did see another type of convertor which is longer. The 3-pins sit on top the schuko plug. If not mistaken, I saw it at an expensive DIY-shop where they wear red and black uniform wan...forgot the name

Weileong, I already have the powerstrip that uses the german type plug.. all i need now are the actual plugs so that i can change the singapore standard 3 pin powerplug to the german one..

Found them in Seoul, Korea. Like you mentioned, if anyone needs them in the future, can get in Frankfurt, Germany also. Will go there again in April.
