post-21639-0-56434400-1369208667_thumb.jHi dear reffers,

Need some help and expertise from you guys, i have an Emeperor Angelfish that i bought after 1 week it started to have some white sponge/cotton like things growing on the Fin and Gills and top part of the fish and then a friend of mine gave me a Juvinelle Queen Angelfish and mixed it into the tank but after a few days both Angels have this white cotton/sponge like things on their body and Queen Angelfish's tail seem to be having a little fin rot? Feeding Fronzen brine shrimp soaked in garlic and feeding pellets as well, all eating like normal, no difference in eating behaviors. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Looks and sounds like lympho to me. It being a virus has spread from ur emperor to your queen. And the fin rot is a secondary infection. Water quality is important and a stress free environment helps as well.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes

Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don't want to impress people they don't like.

Thanks guys for the input. Just changed about 5-10% water last week. For temperature wise would it be good to increase or decrease it? I wad at 26degrees but now have changed it to 28 degrees? Is it ok? Yah both are feeding quite well. Emperor n queen both about 2-3 weeks old? Will this disease pass to Tangs as well?

Depends on your water quality and stress lvl of your tank. Some of my fishes recover within a mth, some took slightly longer. I notice only those that were stressed/ chased ard had this problem. My belize queen, biggest in the tank never had this problem.
