added an ice probe last night...still keeping the fan on to maintain a 27.5-28 degree temperature

i hope with the probe and fan, the evaporation rate is not so hiong...

great journey! even with the addition of the iceprobe, your evaporation rate will be the same as long as you keep your fan running.. the ice probe will not be able to chill your tank. better be off with a 1/10hp chiller, espcially if you are more into SPS.

Im using dymax fan no noise at all but not that powerful

I'm using 2 dymax vortex fans and an osmolator to top up water automatically. It's working great cos it reduces large swing in water parameters caused by high evaporation.

How big is the osmolater? My tank is flooded with equipments as i have no sump haha

It's not big. Just need to insert a circular sensor device into the tank. Diameter is about 5cm, attached by magnet. It's by Tunze, nano osmolator.

No the pump turns the other way

Yes i have hair algae growing on the wave maker

It will alternater one cycle the hair all blowing front

On cycle the hair algae all sucked in

Try clearing off the hair algae in your Wavemaker but dun let the algae drift and flow off in your tank, better to take out and clear in another pail of tank water.
