Protein SKimmer and Fr pump flow rate

Currently using a hydor performa 700 skimmer and H2Ocean FMR75 on a 4x2x2.

1) Flow rate for pump is 600L/H as advised by the reefer who sold it to me. But the skimmate seem to be light in colour ( no matter how i adjust the air intake) rather than coffee colour. Is this the correct flow rate for skimmer?

2) Flow rate for FMR using 300L/H now.. Is this the correct flow?

Im soo lost and not sure if this is the correct flow. Plz advise..

Correction:: Using 800l/h for the protein skimmer..

Did Google says for Skimmer is 450-700l pump. Like I said my skimmate is light colour. Need stronger flow? Can't get a correct answer for fmr

The light color of the skimmate might not mean that your skimmer is not working. It very much depend on your bio load a well, how many fish do you have ?

Try to " Fine tune" the skimmer to dry ( i.e bubble level lower below the neck ) and play around with the setting of your skimmer to get the best result . HTH

Will do bro.. the bubble level was half the neck.. will bring it below the neck
