SRC Member arcanehacker Posted February 5, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted February 5, 2004 actually I always hear the good thing about these calcium reactors.. The problem is how do I use them? Do I place these things externally & connect it into my tank directly? Can it be used for 2 feet tanks or do I really need it? For the one selling here, how much will a new one cost? Too bad budget constrain now.. else I will also bid.. hehe Quote Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth? SRC Member xfusion Posted February 5, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted February 5, 2004 Hi, i'm interested in the calcium reactor.
SRC Member Acanthurus pyroferus Posted February 5, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted February 5, 2004 usually it can be used externally with a drip to your sump.... The one in the pic is for about 800Lits. You might want to get something smaller which is about 400lits. which is ample enough for a 4 ft tank and still too big for a 2 footer...dosing manually would be good enough and save on the $$$$.....
